Chapter 3
Project
STUMP YOUR PARTNER/S
You are going to create an equation with the goal of making the problem so difficult that your partner/s will not be able to solve it. The more difficult operations you include the more difficult it becomes. So grab your thinking caps because it is on!

HERE ARE THE RULES
1. Your group will be assigned by Mr. Gundy
2. You can include all operation symbols, a/many of the same variable, parenthesis, absolute value, fractions, and decimals
3. You will create and solve your own problem on a blank piece of paper. You will need to make sure your answer is correct and has all the necessary work.
4. You MUST be able to solve your own problem otherwise you are disqualified.
5. You will then write your problem on the top of a blank paper twice. This way you can cut it down the middle and give one problem to each partner.
6. You have one day to finish your problem, then your partners will try to solve your problem on day 2.
7. Be creative and think about the things that make a problem hard for you to solve and try to incorporate them into your problem.
Try this riddle if you have time!
